All types of dining are taken care of at Hurawalhi. There’s dolphin-watching breakfasts at the stylish buffet restaurant, Canneli; innovative plant-based lunches at cool J.F.K (Junk Food Kitchen); and special occasion dinners at 5.8 Undersea Restaurant: an all-glass masterpiece located 5.8 metres below the ocean’s surface. The bars here are stand-outs, too. Kashibo Bar serves up Asian-inspired cocktails, while the ocean-side Champagne Pavilion is a romantic hideaway with views of the setting sun.

Hurawalhi’s superstar dining venue is the all-glass 5.8 Undersea Restaurant – its name comes from the fact that it sits 5.8 metres below the ocean’s surface. This is special occasion dining at its best; innovative and seasonal multi-course tasting menus are served as you gaze out (and up) at colourful marine life swimming by. 5.8 can only seat 10 couples at a time, so you’ll need to pre-book.

Above water, Kashibo is a modern open-air restaurant perched at the edge of the ocean. The teppanyaki experience is a must, with delicious sashimi, tempura and wagyu whipped up right in front of you. After dinner, head to the Kashibo Bar for Asian-inspired cocktails.

Canneli — is the resort’s main buffet-style restaurant with live cooking stations. Grab a table on the outside terrace at breakfast and you might even spot dolphins while you dine. J.F.K (Junk Food Kitchen) offers one of the coolest upscale takes on fast food we’ve seen – it says a lot about the quality of the plant-based dishes here when a vegan, gluten-free burger (complete with bright green spinach bun) is the most iconic dish.

Drinks are served at poolside all-day/all-night Coco Bar, while for a splash more romance, head to the ocean-side Champagne Pavilion which has views of ‘Dream Island’ – Hurawalhi’s private sandbank.
