There’s a real sense of place at this down-to-earth resort that sits between river and sea. The vibe is traditional Vietnamese fishing village with elements of French and Japanese style – much like the city that’s just a metaphorical stone’s throw away. You can reach Hoi An easily thanks to the resort’s own shuttle or hire one of the bikes and make your own way there. However you choose to explore, you’ll have a calm retreat to return to at the end of the day: a retreat that’s home to a spa, a pool with stunning sea views shaded by swaying palms and a handful of bars and restaurants.

The local focus continues at L’Annam Restaurant, the Victoria Hoi An’s beautifully designed all-day dining venue. Alongside international dishes, there’s a great variety of Vietnamese cuisine and dishes inspired by tastes from around the continent. The monthly Sunday brunch is something of a resort institution and the restaurant has an extensive wine list.
There’s also a trio of bars: the al fresco, thatch roof Faifo Bar that’s next to the pool, the laid-back Elephant Bar and the Cham Bar, a sophisticated spot inspired by the ancient Champa Kingdom.
The main dining venue is L’Annam Restaurant where international and Vietnamese dishes are served side by side. There’s a weekly Sunday brunch as well as sporadic themed nights.
Faifo Bar — is the resort’s al fresco poolside bar which serves refreshing drinks and dishes such as burgers, sandwiches and pasta.
Cham Bar — is a classy venue that’s inspired by the Champa Kingdom, once the ruling power of Hoi An. There’s an indoor bar area as well as a deck with views of the pool. There’s sometimes live music accompanying your evening drink.
For casual daytime and evening drinks, there’s the sports venue, Elephant Bar. You can play pool or watch live matches as you enjoy a cocktail or two as well as some light snacks.
