When you combine the impeccable and world-renowned Taj service, where nothing is too much trouble, with an enviable setting on a quieter stretch of Goa’s coastline the result is one of Goa’s most exclusive and popular resorts. Echoing the region’s Portuguese heritage, there’s a European ambience, as well as a similar laid-back pace of life. The vast gardens are a joy to wander through, while the beach is one of the resort’s real highlights. Although not private, it has a really secluded, untouched feel to it. Taj Exotica Resort & Spa is the perfect location to end your holiday in India. For the active, there is a nine-hole golf course, badminton, tennis, cricket and The Kids@Taj programme will keep children busy with sports, games and daily workshops. Taj Exotica has plenty of dining options, Sala da Pranzo is the international all-day diner, award-winning Voyager Trail Miguel Arcanjo is a Goan-Portuguese speciality restaurant and Lobster Village is the beachside live grill restaurant serving dishes such as masala grilled kingfish. Head to Adgeo Camoens, the resort’s lounge bar for afternoon high tea and evening drinks. Private dining can also be arranged in a variety of picturesque settings to celebrate that special occasion.
The main restaurant, Sala da Pranzo, is open around the clock and serves an array of dishes from all over the world. For more local flavours try the fine-dining restaurant Miguel Arcanjo which is open for dinner. The freshest seafood is served at the beachfront Lobster Shack, alongside an impressive wine list. For a light snack or refreshing drink head to the elegant lounge, Adega Camoens.
If your villa has a garden, they can arrange a chef to cook for you or you could request a private dinner at the beach cooked from a live kitchen on the sand.

Do I need a visa to visit the Maldives?

When is the best time to visit the Maldives?
November to April is the dry season, with the most reliable sunshine and calmest seas. May to October brings shorter rain showers, lower prices and better surf.
