Greek island glamour and honeymoon heaven
Tumbling down the caldera cliffside, this exclusive southern Oia hideaway offers effortless luxury in one of Santorini’s most spectacular settings.
Vanilla coloured crater-hugging terraces and bright blue pools. Cocooning creamy rooms and cocktails with knock-your-socks-off sunset colours. This serene almost surreal hotel is curvy, cool and Instagrammable from every angle. Three restaurants burst with Mediterranean and French flavours; dine at the edge of the cliff, on platforms plummeting towards the sea or on a white-washed balcony by the freshwater pool.

Discover Santorini from the Water
One of the island’s lesser known wonders, this chilli pepper paradise is met by a lap of crystalline waves that were made for paddling in. From one sandy stretch to another, the powdery sands of the White Beach will quieten your whirring brain, while a stop at the Black Mountain lends a fresh glimpse at the volcanic isle’s many marvels. Boxed off with a beautiful lighthouse and a plunge into the irresistible hot springs, the fun-filled moments are fuelled by a mouthwatering on-board lunch with wine and dessert thrown in for good measure. • Duration: Full day • Daily departures • Operates: Year-round • Group experience

Volcanic Island Cruise
Admire views of Santorini from a different perspective as you cruise around volcanic islands on a traditional Greek boat. First, you’ll sail to the Nea Kameni lava islet, where you’ll join a guided walking tour ascending to the crater of the still-active volcano. Enjoy the sights of Santorini from above before returning to the boat and continuing to the second lava islet, Palea Kameni, known for its hot springs. Here, you can jump off the ship into the thermal waters. Next is the traditional island of Thirassia, where the time is yours to spend as you wish. Relax at the picturesque small port or have lunch in the village of Manolas. You could also transfer to the famous town of Oia, the most photographed place in Greece. The experience concludes with a view over Santorini’s legendary sunset. • Duration: full day • Time: 9.45am to 3pm • Daily departures • Operates from May to September • Group experience Good to know — Not wheelchair/pram accessible as a moderate amount of walking is involved and there are uneven surfaces. Questions? Sorted.
Do I need a visa to visit the Maldives?
British passport holders are issued a free 30-day visitor visa on arrival. You'll need a passport valid for the duration of your stay, a confirmed onward ticket and proof of your accommodation booking.
When is the best time to visit the Maldives?
November to April is the dry season, with the most reliable sunshine and calmest seas. May to October brings shorter rain showers, lower prices and better surf.
What currency is used in the Maldives, and do I need cash?
The local currency is the Maldivian rufiyaa, but resorts price and bill in US dollars and take major cards. Most guests never need cash — a small amount is handy for tipping.
Is the Maldives good for honeymoons outside peak season?
Yes. Off-peak brings noticeably lower rates and quieter islands, and rain tends to come in short bursts rather than all day. Many resorts add honeymoon extras during these months.
What activities are there for older kids and teens in the Maldives?
Most resorts run watersports centres with windsurfing, kayaking and paddleboarding, plus PADI dive courses from around age ten. Snorkelling safaris, sandbank trips and night fishing all suit older children.
