Ikos Odisia
Taking all-inclusive to the next level
Joining sister hotel Ikos Dassia on the sweeping Dassia Bay is the brand new Ikos Odisia. This eye-catching addition is hidden away in 60 acres of woodland-cloaked grounds and, thanks to its peninsula setting, surrounded by the jewel-toned Ionian Sea on two sides. Days here can be as full (or empty) as you choose. There are more heated pools than days of the week and a glorious 420-metre stretch of golden sand, all with straight-to-your-lounger service, so you barely need to move a muscle. Unless you want to, of course; the list of included activities is extensive and includes both fun on the water and land. One of the highlights is the complimentary Local Drive Adventure – a self-drive day of Corfu exploration giving you the chance to get to know this stunning island on your own terms.

The Infinite Lifestyle inclusions extend to each of the resort’s restaurants and beyond. Alongside the main buffet venue, Flavors, there are five à la carte options. When in Greece, do as the Greeks do and dine on fresh, local produce by the water; Ouzo is the Ikos’s local speciality restaurant overseen by Michelin Star-winning chef Lefteris Lazarou, while Elia is a family-focused Greek eatery with a modern twist and unbeatable views. Italy is just over 60 miles across the Ionian Sea, but you only need to walk a short distance to Fresco to experience the nation’s famed risottos, grilled pizzas and sweet treats. For further-afield flavours, there’s the Asian restaurant Anyaya and the Spanish a la carte, Oliva. Staying at an all-inclusive hotel often means that you don’t get to experience local hot spots, but this isn’t the case at Ikos resorts. The Dine Out concept means that you can head out to some the best local eateries at no extra cost.
Offering an incredible all-inclusive package, the all-new Ikos Odisia is a fresh addition to Corfu’s beautiful Dassia Bay.

The Unconditional Luxury inclusions extend to each of the resort’s restaurants and beyond. Alongside the main buffet venue, Flavors, there are seven à la carte options, from modern Greek cuisine at Ouzo to Italian dishes at Fresco. There are several bars too, serving mixologist-made cocktails accompanied by live music and starry skies. Flavors — is Ikos’s main buffet restaurant where you can enjoy a Mediterranean-style buffet, full of fresh produce and mouthwatering dishes at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s even open through the night for after-dinner dishes for the night owls or early birds. As you would expect from a hotel in Corfu, there is a lot of focus on local cuisine but with an innovative twist. Ouzo is a fine-dining establishment with a menu created by one-time Michelin-Star-winning chef Lefteris Lazarou. The emphasis here is on sea food cooked to order and complemented by fresh local ingredients, but there are also a range of vegetarian and vegan options. Over at Elia, island flavours can be enjoyed in a family friendly environment and with unbeatable views over the Ionian Sea. Further tastes of the Mediterranean region can be enjoyed at the Italian eatery, Fresco. The menu features tasteful pizzas, risottos and pasta dishes devised by Corfu-born Ettore Botrini, a chef who has run restaurants that have featured on world’s-best lists. Richly seasoned Spanish cuisine can be enjoyed at Oliva; there are tapas dishes to start, mouthwatering paellas and a host of seafood, meat and vegetarian mains. Finally, there’s Anaya, an Asian venue created in collaboration with Chef Thiou, a master of creating Thai cuisine with European – particularly French – produce.

It has to be Ouzo, whose innovative Greek dishes are devised by Michelin-starred chef Lefteris Lazarou; try the mini beef kebabs or Corfian ‘Mpourdeto’ with red snapper, raisins and pine nuts.
Anaya — Developed in collaboration with Chef Thiou, a master of creating Thai cuisine with European produce, this innovative Asian restaurant serves curries, noodle dishes and seafood in atmospheric surroundings; try the hand-made ravioli with crayfish, coconut milk and lime sauce for one of the real standouts. Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a visa to visit the Maldives?
British passport holders are issued a free 30-day visitor visa on arrival. You'll need a passport valid for the duration of your stay, a confirmed onward ticket and proof of your accommodation booking.
When is the best time to visit the Maldives?
November to April is the dry season, with the most reliable sunshine and calmest seas. May to October brings shorter rain showers, lower prices and better surf.
What currency is used in the Maldives, and do I need cash?
The local currency is the Maldivian rufiyaa, but resorts price and bill in US dollars and take major cards. Most guests never need cash — a small amount is handy for tipping.
Is the Maldives good for honeymoons outside peak season?
Yes. Off-peak brings noticeably lower rates and quieter islands, and rain tends to come in short bursts rather than all day. Many resorts add honeymoon extras during these months.
What activities are there for older kids and teens in the Maldives?
Most resorts run watersports centres with windsurfing, kayaking and paddleboarding, plus PADI dive courses from around age ten. Snorkelling safaris, sandbank trips and night fishing all suit older children.
