Surrounded by Serra de Tramuntana mountains, this is a ‘kick back and relax’ escape with a huge spring water pool, sun loungers scattered in pretty gardens and a shuttle\* to secluded Muleta cove where you can snorkel in crystal-clear waters (shuttle, access to the beach and sunbeds are an extra charge and prebookable). You’re in a great location for cycling and hiking; return for tapas at the Mediterranean-facing terrace or an evening in the elegant restaurant.
This quiet and secluded mountain retreat is an ideal destination to kick back and relax; it’s in a beautiful landscape of lemon and olive trees, with traditional décor and friendly service which make it a popular choice for repeat guests. Sun loungers are scattered in pretty gardens and the springwater pool has an attractive terrace where you can relax and enjoy the soothing sound of the mountain spring. Don’t miss the free shuttle (four times a day) to Sa Muleta, a nearby secluded cove – exclusive to guests – with clear waters, a snack bar and snorkelling equipment (pre-booking is advised as space is limited). The traditional town of Soller is easily accessible by train and from here you can enjoy a scenic ride on the vintage tram to the charming harbour village of Puerto Soller.

Classic Rooms are in the main building which is close to the restaurant, bars and pool. As the name suggests, Classic Rooms Annex are located in the annex building which is higher on the hillside with lots of steps but great views. We recommend upgrading to a room with a balcony. There are 76 rooms here.

November to April is the dry season, with the most reliable sunshine and calmest seas. May to October brings shorter rain showers, lower prices and better surf.

The local currency is the Maldivian rufiyaa, but resorts price and bill in US dollars and take major cards. Most guests never need cash — a small amount is handy for tipping.
Is the Maldives good for honeymoons outside peak season?
Yes. Off-peak brings noticeably lower rates and quieter islands, and rain tends to come in short bursts rather than all day. Many resorts add honeymoon extras during these months.
