Disney's All-Star Sports Resort
It’s game time!
Delve into a world of American sports at this colourful, simple, fun-loving, Disney ‘value’ resort.
If you want to stay in a Disney hotel to take advantage of the benefits like early park entry and access to Disney dining but don’t want to fork out too much (especially if you know it’ll mainly be a place to sleep), Disney’s All-Star Resorts could be the budget option you need. There are three in all, and this sports-themed version celebrates the USA’s favourites with oversized American football helmets, a pool surrounded by ginormous surfboards, and a sports-themed food court.

If you love French cuisine, look no further than La Belle Vie

An incredible way to kick off your Maldives holiday
“There's something pretty special about travelling by seaplane. The view from the sky is extraordinary - tiny specs of island and shades of blue that barely look real.”

The iconic, mile-long sandbank
Perfect for isolated sunbathing, dramatic photoshoots, and watching breathtaking Maldivian sunsets.

Snorkelling and diving isn't the only way to catch sight of the underwater world
“If snorkelling and diving isn't for you, it's possible to catch a glimpse of the reef from a glass-bottomed boat instead.”

Disney Dining Plan
During your stay at a Disney Resort hotel, each person will receive credits for one quick-service meal and one table-service meal each night, with the total allocation of credits available when you arrive. A non-alcoholic drink (or alcoholic drink for guests over 21) is included with each meal, one selected snack or drink per day, and a refillable drink mug. You can top up the mug at any Disney Resort hotel. A quick service table credit includes one main course and one drink. A table service meal credit includes one main course, dessert, and drink. Restaurants considered fine or signature dining, dinner shows, and some character dining experiences require two table service meals per person. The Disney Dining Plan is available at over 200 dining locations across Walt Disney World, including the parks, Disney Boardwalk, Disney Springs, and Resort hotels. Dining reservations aren’t required at Disney’s quick-service restaurants, but to use your table-service credits, reservations are strongly encouraged and available to make 60 days before arrival. Gratuities are not included, and an 18% gratuity will be automatically added to the bill of parties of six or more. Meals and snacks are loaded onto your Magicband. To redeem your dining plan, present your MagicBand when you pay for the meal, snack, or drink. Meals and snacks can be redeemed anytime during your stay, so you don’t have to use the allocation the same way each day. Unused meals and snacks will roll over day to day and expire at midnight on your checkout date.

7-Day Magic Ticket
Magic Tickets include entry to Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course and one round of mini golf at Disney’s Winter Summerland or Disney’s Fantasia Gardens daily. An extra benefit of the Magic Ticket is Memory Maker, where you can download and keep digital copies of all your attraction photos and photographs taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers throughout the parks – perfect for getting professional family photos with everyone in them! You won’t receive a paper ticket. Instead, your tickets and Walt Disney World arrangements are stored on your My Disney Experience account, which you’ll need to set up. Download the app where you can link and store your tickets. In addition, when you arrive, you can buy an optional MagicBand that you wear on your wrist that links to your My Disney Experience account so you can use it to scan into the parks and your Disney resort room, redeem your Disney Dining Plan (if selected), and make purchases in the parks.

14-Day Magic Ticket
The 14-Day Magic Ticket provides access to all Disney theme parks, including Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Disney’s Blizzard Beach (depending on which is open), for 14 days across 18 days. This Park Hopper ticket also allows you to visit multiple theme parks and water parks on the same day. Children under three do not require a ticket. In addition to the parks, the Magic Ticket includes access to Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course and one round of mini golf at Disney’s Winter Summerland or Disney’s Fantasia Gardens daily. A great perk of the Magic Ticket is the Memory Maker. This feature lets you download and keep digital copies of all your attraction photos and photographs taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers throughout the parks. Instead of receiving a paper ticket, your tickets and all your arrangements for Walt Disney World will be stored on your My Disney Experience account. You must set up an account and download the My Disney Experience app to link and store your tickets. You can purchase an optional MagicBand, which you wear on your wrist when you arrive at Walt Disney World. Your MagicBand will link to your My Disney Experience account, allowing you to scan into the parks and your Disney resort room, redeem your Disney Dining Plan (if you’ve selected one), and make purchases in the parks.

Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan
For each night of your stay in a Disney Resort hotel, each person will receive credits for two quick-service meals, one non-alcoholic drink (or alcoholic drink for guests over 21) per meal, one selected snack or drink, and a refillable drink mug, which you can top up at any Disney Resort hotel. Available at over 100 quick-service dining locations across Walt Disney World, including the parks, Disney Boardwalk, Disney Springs, and Resort hotels. Dining reservations aren’t required at Disney’s quick-service restaurants, so this is a great option if you don’t want to make lots of dining plans ahead of time.

Questions? Sorted.
Do I need a visa to visit the Maldives?
British passport holders are issued a free 30-day visitor visa on arrival. You'll need a passport valid for the duration of your stay, a confirmed onward ticket and proof of your accommodation booking.
When is the best time to visit the Maldives?
November to April is the dry season, with the most reliable sunshine and calmest seas. May to October brings shorter rain showers, lower prices and better surf.
What currency is used in the Maldives, and do I need cash?
The local currency is the Maldivian rufiyaa, but resorts price and bill in US dollars and take major cards. Most guests never need cash — a small amount is handy for tipping.
Is the Maldives good for honeymoons outside peak season?
Yes. Off-peak brings noticeably lower rates and quieter islands, and rain tends to come in short bursts rather than all day. Many resorts add honeymoon extras during these months.
What activities are there for older kids and teens in the Maldives?
Most resorts run watersports centres with windsurfing, kayaking and paddleboarding, plus PADI dive courses from around age ten. Snorkelling safaris, sandbank trips and night fishing all suit older children.
