Whether you’re travelling with friends, family or a loved one, the Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel is a welcoming, laidback haven with wonderful ocean views. You’ll find plenty of facilities to keep you entertained and the busy centre of Paphos is only a short journey away. There is a fine stretch of sheltered beach that’s shared with the hotel’s neighbouring sister properties, as well as a variety of pools – including two children’s paddling pools. While adults are at the Elixir spa, on the beach or lounging by the pool, younger guests can meet new friends and enjoy activities at the kids' club, which is open during the summer months. The resort has an exclusive zone that is just for guests over 16 with separate pool, sunbathing area and a swim-up ‘Adult Pool Bar’. Elite Class guests can enjoy a drink at the St Andrews rooftop bar.

The six restaurants here make the most of the beautiful Cypriot weather with a number of al fresco dining venues dotted around the resort. At breakfast, head for the main restaurant Atrium for a hearty buffet breakfast. Aternatively, guests over 16 can enjoy a Mediterranean-style buffet at Zephyr Restaurant.
If you are staying in a Elite Class Superior Room or Suite you can enjoy breakfast at Leda Restaurant until 11am. At dinner there are a wide range of international dishes on offer at Atrium, from Mediterranean to Far Eastern and theme nights. À la carte restaurants include the Mediterranean Adonis, Leda Italian Restaurant and the adults-only venue, Zephyr.
Making the most of the beautiful Cypriot weather, the majority of bars and restaurants at the resort enjoy beautiful al fresco dining venues. Atrium is the resort's main buffet restaurant; open for breakfast and dinner, enjoy an excellent range of culinary choices here, which range from local Cypriot and Far Eastern specialities, to authentic Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. There's a lovely lounge vibe at the adult only St Andrew's Rooftop Bar at it's also a great spot for drinks at sunset.

Do I need a visa to visit the Maldives?
British passport holders are issued a free 30-day visitor visa on arrival. You'll need a passport valid for the duration of your stay, a confirmed onward ticket and proof of your accommodation booking.
When is the best time to visit the Maldives?
November to April is the dry season, with the most reliable sunshine and calmest seas. May to October brings shorter rain showers, lower prices and better surf.
What currency is used in the Maldives, and do I need cash?
The local currency is the Maldivian rufiyaa, but resorts price and bill in US dollars and take major cards. Most guests never need cash — a small amount is handy for tipping.
Is the Maldives good for honeymoons outside peak season?
Yes. Off-peak brings noticeably lower rates and quieter islands, and rain tends to come in short bursts rather than all day. Many resorts add honeymoon extras during these months.
What activities are there for older kids and teens in the Maldives?
Most resorts run watersports centres with windsurfing, kayaking and paddleboarding, plus PADI dive courses from around age ten. Snorkelling safaris, sandbank trips and night fishing all suit older children.
