There’s never a shortage of things to do at Coconut Bay; this vibrant Saint Lucia favourite is home to St Lucia’s largest waterpark, a paintball centre and spa, as well as a handful of pools, some that are child-friendly and a couple that are just for adults. Life here is all about spending your days winding your way around the lazy river between water slide rides, playing games of volleyball and paintball and kayaking or paddleboarding. Family holidays are as much about time to yourselves as time together and thanks to the exceptional Kidz Klub at Cocoland your offspring will be suitably entertained while you retreat to the spa or one of the kid-free pools.
Harmony — It's not all for families at Coconut Bay - there's an entire wing of the resort that is dedicated to more chilled out, adults-only holidays. There's an oasis area with a couple of freeform pools both of which are surrounded by cabana sun beds; The Tiki Pool has a bar that's just steps from the water while the Oasis pool features a whirlpool and a handful of in-water lounge beds. You'll share the rest of the facilities and restaurants (which are used by families) but there is an over 18s dining venue, Veranda, and you can also dine at the venues at the adults-only Serenity at Coconut Bay for a supplement.

There are more restaurants than days of the week, so the options are always varied – we love Silk, an eastern-inspired venue where Indian, Thai, Japanese and Chinese dishes are infused with island flavours and ingredients. On the more casual end of the scale, there’s The Jerk Treehouse, a rustic spot where pork and chicken are flavoured with a secret jerk sauce. Flip Flops is another chilled spot where grilled dishes, pizzas, wraps and sandwiches are made to order. Babysitting is available and the kids’ club often offers evening activities if you’d like to try out a few of the fine-dining restaurants such as intimate La Luna and adults-only Veranda.

There are more restaurants than days of the week, so the options are varied, from casual eateries to fine dining.
Coconut Walk Marketplace — is the resort’s buffet restaurant that opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are eight live cooking stations where dishes are created as you watch; five of these are made-to-order stations so you know your food is as fresh as possible. You can enjoy fresh crepes, omelettes and smoothies at breakfast stir fry at lunch, create your own stir fry and sandwiches at lunch and order grilled meats and vegetables at dinner. Alternative spots at lunch include Flip Flops which is located next to the swim-up pool bar. This casual venue serves fresh salads and wraps alongside home-made pizza and grilled burgers as well as late-night snacks between 10pm and 1am (which are included in your all-inclusive package). There’s also The Jerk Treehouse which is open for lunch and serves up pork and chicken marinated in a secret jerk sauce.
There are a handful of more formal restaurants: the Asian eatery Silk where traditional eastern dishes are created using typical Caribbean ingredients; contemporary Caribbean venue Calabash where the focus is on Creole flavours; adults-only Veranda which has a sophisticated surf and turf style menu; and Trattoria, a family friendly spot where Italian cuisine is on the menu. Finally, there’s the bijou venue with sea views, La Luna.
You can order refreshing drinks from various locations around the resort, each with their own signature cocktail. These include the Lobby Bar, the open-air sports venue Sand Bar and the sophisticated Peter John’s Lounge where you can enjoy rum and other cocktails with a piano music soundtrack. Other bars include the Splash Bar which is located next to one of the family friendly pools and Paradise Beach Bar which has fantastic views of the Atlantic. There’s a swim-up bar that’s not too far from the beach and in the Harmony area, you’ll find an adults-only pool bar.
