The superb location of Chobe Game Lodge within Chobe National Park makes wildlife spotting easy. Head out with a guide in a 4x4 as soon as the gates open, and for a moment, you'll have this incredible park almost to yourself. The park is home to the largest concentration of elephants in the world and vast herds can often be seen gathered on the banks and in the river. During your time here you may also see lion, giraffe and a variety of antelope including roan, sable, puku and red lechwe. Chobe Game Lodge has been at the forefront of eco-friendly practices including using solar panels that generate electricity to power the boats used on the river cruises. Chobe Game Lodge was also the first lodge to have an all-female guiding team. While the animals are the starring attraction, the luxurious lodge perfectly complements this phenomenal experience.
