Enjoy breakfast on the terrace, casual lunches and sophisticated dinners at the sea-view Palm Restaurant, plus superb ocean views at the clifftop Cove Restaurant. The Reef, a newly renovated casual dining venue, serves light bites, salads and flat breads for lunch on the terrace and the Pelican Bar does great cocktails. There’s also a casual beach bar and pool bar.
Nestled in beautiful gardens overlooking the ocean, the elegant Palm Restaurant has an open front which offers an al fresco feel. Breakfast is served on the sunny terrace and lunch options include salads, sandwiches, burgers and local dishes such as Cajun-spiced mahi mahi. In the evening the restaurant is a lovely venue for sophisticated dinners. Perched dramatically on a clifftop, the renowned Cove Restaurant offers a romantic spot for dinner with breathtaking views over the ocean and is open four to five evenings per week. Enjoy Caribbean cuisine with an Asian twist accompanied by fine wines. The Reef beach bar and restaurant offers a casual alternative for lunch. Choose from a range of salads, flat breads and light bites such as grilled king prawns. There is also a tempting selection of creamy cocktails, smoothies and gelatos as well as beers and wines. The Caribbean-style Pelican Bar is a bright and airy venue for relaxing drinks during the day and cocktails at night as the infectious rhythm of a steel band creates a lively atmosphere. Enjoy al fresco drinks at the casual Beach Bar or take a break from swimming in the pool and head to Veronica’s to cool off with a refreshing drink or mingle with other guests and sample some inventive concoctions at the weekly manager’s cocktail party.

Hand Crafted Guided Tour of Antigua
The adventure begins with a drive through the diverse vegetation of the Antigua Rainforest to get to your first stop, Nelson's Dockyard National Park. This historic landmark was developed as a British Navy base in the late 18th Century but gradually became abandoned in the 19th Century before completely closing in 1889. Today, Nelson's Dockyard has been rejuvenated and labelled as a World Heritage Site and has a unique combination of rich heritage and beautiful surroundings. Moving on from the dockyard, you'll head up to Shirley Heights to admire the iconic views overlooking the English Harbour which stretch as far as Montserrat, and Guadeloupe. Back in the day, this lookout was a hugely important signal station to alert the entire island of any approaches to the harbour. Do I need a visa to visit the Maldives?

When is the best time to visit the Maldives?
November to April is the dry season, with the most reliable sunshine and calmest seas. May to October brings shorter rain showers, lower prices and better surf.
What currency is used in the Maldives, and do I need cash?
The local currency is the Maldivian rufiyaa, but resorts price and bill in US dollars and take major cards. Most guests never need cash — a small amount is handy for tipping.
Is the Maldives good for honeymoons outside peak season?
